'Thaandavam' gets mtv best musical award

                                                                                                                            MTV VMA (MTV Video and Music Awards) was started in 1984 in the USA, to acknowledge choice music and videos. It is fondly referred to as 'Oscars for Youth', owing to the mass of audience that the show has garnered. Last year, the final Presidential debate was staged, drawing close to 20 million populace interacting online with the show. Now, it has been brought home. MTV VMAI has chosen awarded the video of the track 'Uyirin Uyire' from the film 'Thaandavam' to be the Best Regional Music Video, 2013. The song was sung by Vandhana and Sathya Prakash. Composer GV Prakash personally received the award at the function held at Tulip Star, Mumbai.
MTV VMAI (MTV Video and Music Awards, India) is the Indian version of the USA youth award, for no two music days are alike. It is from the very makers of Coke Studio @ MTV, MTV Unplugged, MTV Sound Trippin and MTV Roots.
