Talented Southindian actress Poorna, who has not had any Tamil release in a year now, has three films lining up for release this year. Speaking on one of her projects, 'Thagaraaru', she says "I am playing the role of a rural girl, but have had to learn and change myself a lot in order to suit the role. Shooting in very temple town, and also from hearsay, I know that Madurai girls are very brave and courageous. I have to imbibe these characters in my role, and it is a new and enjoyable experience for me. Sharing the screen with Arulnidhi is a pleasure. He plays an interesting role in the film, which nothing like the usual hero types."

Poorna is currently working on 'Thagaraaru' and 'Padam Pesum'.
